I was sorry to hear of the deaths of the family but also know God does call us home when it is our time. My grandma mary ankenbauer was cousins with Cliff and Fred and loved them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR STORY ABOUT THE COSTUME CO. THE STORE WAS MORE THAN JUST A STORE, IT WAS A FAMILY. (A LARGE FAMILY) I AM NOW LIVING IN ALASKA AND WAS VERY HOME SICK SO I LOOKED UP THE COSTUME CO. TO MY SURPRISE YOU HAVE A BIG PART OF MY LIFE POSTED HERE. READING COMMENTS FROM MY UNCLE AND CAUSENS WAS A GREAT SURPRISE BECAUSE WE HAVE LOST TOUCH. NOW I FEEL A LITTLE MORE CONNECTED. I was so happy to see this site because this is my Uncle Cliff who owned this costume store and I use to go with my grandmother to Salt Lake most summers from Calif. to visit her Cousin Cliff and others. I had lots of fun trying on those costumes and Uncle Cliff was a wonderful man. I lost touch since my grandma mary ankenbauer(Allen) passed away and I would love to find my family and this helps. Thank you for wanting to remember this great store with lots of memories. Michelle Murphy
