Thanks to Sparkle Power for this homemade bubbles recipe. I need to remember to pick up some glycerin and the pharmacy so I can have the secret magic bubble ingredient on hand when I need it.

Homemade Bubble Recipe:

  • 1 gallon water
  • 2/3 cup dishwashing soap
  • 2-3 tbsp. glycerin

Make it the night before so the ingredients can get mixed together without shaking the bottle.

  1. The super-size bubbles at Walmart are pretty cheap and good, though I’m sure these homemade ones are quite superior in every way.

I thought you were almost done with the kiddies? (Maybe the bubbles are for you and Mike?)

  2. Yeah, we’re done with the kids for now. The bubbles are for when they return. We babysit quite often.
