My Life in Swatches: Golden Jelly Skin

Golden Jelly Skin by LauraMoncur from Flickr

I bought this Swatch in 2002 and I’ve worn it maybe five times. It came into my life right when I was changing from wearing gold jewelry all the time to wearing silver jewelry all the time, so it ended up in the back of the drawer.

That makes me sad for this watch. Maybe I’ll wear it today to make it feel better.

  1. Hi Laura,

If you are not going to wear it and if you want to sell it, I could be interested. I lent mine 4 years ago to a “nice” friend who has not returned it to me !!! So just let me know.

    Bye

I too lost a much loved Swatch Jelly watch so if you still have it and are interested in selling, please contact me.

  3. And, ditto for me – My father ‘admired’ my gold Skin so many times that I (finally got the hint and) gave it to him – I’d love to replace it, so if you’d be willing to sell yours, drop me a line?

Or if you prefer, I have a few other MIB Swatches I’d be OK to swap with you for this one (including one ‘Skin cuff’ Swatch represented to me as a Swatch prototype, and which I’ve never seen listed in the Swatch books or for sale anywhere). If any of that intrigues you perhaps, email me and I’ll send you pics of them? TIA, Clay
