Steampunk Costuming
If I hadn’t already chosen my costume back in June, I would be frantically working on a steampunk costume like the ones shown here:
I love the idea of steampunk. It takes the best of Victorian costumes (top hats and corsets) and pairs them with sci-fi gadgetry! Next year, my friends, next year…

I just discovered the name for all the “future of yesterday” movies I’ve been watching for years: “Steampunk.” And with that knowledge and a google search came hundreds of fantastic trinkets and outfits.
It’s not even Halloween ’08, and I too have now decided what to work towards in ’09 (as well as incorporating more into my everyday style).
