We are leaving Anaheim and Disneyland today. I played with my Haunted Mansion self portrait and I was able to fix the colors a little bit. My new camera is strangely disappointing as far as color is concerned. Maybe I see colors a little more vividly than they appear in the real world documented by my camera. I’m happy with the video. I’m happy with the size and portability. I am sadly disappointed with the photographs. I KNOW my old Panasonic could take better snaps and it is really frustrating to me.

Maybe I just need to learn how to take pictures with this new camera. Maybe I’ll end up loving it after I learn all its quirks. I just don’t want to have to color correct every photo that I take.

I thought I wouldn’t have to say, “Your camera doesn’t matter,” once I got my new camera. I have been saying it to myself for so long that I’m disappointed that I still have to say it about my brand new camera.

And I can’t return it…
