Why I’m Not Joining Facebook
Everyone is really excited about Facebook right now. Just like they were excited about LiveJournal, MySpace and LinkedIn before.
I’m sick of all these social networks and here’s why:
I’m sick of telling spammers that I don’t want to be their friend.
At least in my experience I’ve not had this trouble with Facebook… Although I’ve got plenty of people on it that I haven’t seen or talked to for years… So I guess that technically accomplishes the same thing.

FB isn’t nearly as bad as Myspace.. FB seems to be relatively free of spam.. in fact in my ~2 years of using it, I haven’t gotten any spam at all.
